NAK village economists will be ready to help with the submission of unified applications
Nearly 700 village economist advisors of the National Chamber of Agriculture will help farmers with the submission of unified applications this year as well. In addition to the chamber’s experts, the advisors have also received extensive training to be prepared to be at the disposal of the chamber members.
In cooperation with the Hungarian State Treasury, the village economist advisors of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) have been comprehensively prepared for the submission of unified applications in 2025. During the theoretical and practical training, the advisors, together with the NAK village economists, also became fully familiar with the application submission process and the related legal requirements.
Following the training, NAK specialists will also take an exam on the knowledge they have acquired
A separate training course was also held on forestry-related topics, in which, in addition to village economists, forestry managers, consultants and regional forestry experts also participated. In addition, personal regional training courses are also taking place these days, which cover the changes in the legal environment and the electronic submission interface compared to the previous year, as well as previous common errors. The chamber is committed to ensuring that village economists and consultants receive adequate preparation for submitting unified applications, thus ensuring smooth, efficient assistance to farmers in submitting them.
NAK actively participates in the submission of unified applications every year
Last year, 159,551 applications were submitted nationwide by the deadline of June 10, 2024, of which more than 65 percent, 104,477 applications, were submitted by farmers with the assistance of NAK’s rural economists. The applications submitted with the assistance of the chamber covered nearly 1.65 million hectares. The EU Common Agricultural Policy changes significantly from year to year, and the withdrawal of direct agricultural subsidies involves more and more administrative tasks. In order to be able to support its members effectively, NAK expanded its network of rural economists by nearly 170 people in 2024, so that approximately 700 rural economist advisors will assist in the submission of unified applications this year.
