The BMW Group is accelerating its digital transformation
BMW expands its strategic collaboration with SAP to accelerate its digital development. With the introduction of RISE with SAP, the entire SAP system of the group is being transformed. By jointly supporting business processes, the solution provides the company with flexibility, rapid development and long-term success.
The strategic cooperation between the BMW Group and SAP has a long history. As an extension of this, in 2023, the BMW Group will merge its cloud-based strategy with the SAP S/4HANA systems it has used so far. As part of RISE with SAP, the company has access to a cloud-based platform that uniformly supports all business processes. This enables the joint development of critical business areas – finance, spare parts supply, warehousing, supply chains and production – and faster, more comprehensive, more efficient digitization. As part of the extended cooperation, the BMW Group and SAP can together shape the future of business process development in the automotive industry.
