Soybean production is ramping up by the EU’s direct subsidies
One of the biggest challenge for crop producers last year was the convertion to the European Union’s direct aid. Among the new support conditions soybeans have become hit products, while greening requirements forced the farmers to implement changes – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
Last spring we entered into the new system of direct payments,which also posed an additional challenge to some of the farmers. The detailed rules had just appeared in the middle of March. Those small farmers who are obliged to greening, but only one produced one plant before were forced to change their sowing scheme. (agrarszektor.hu)
