The Department of Commerce upgraded its third-quarter U.S. GDP growth estimate

US GDP may have grown faster than previously expected in the third quarter
Gross domestic product in the United States grew 2.1 percent year-over-year in the third quarter, according to BEA’s second estimate, compared with 2.0 percent in the first estimate.
However, BEA’s calculation still lags behind analysts’ estimates of 2.2 percent growth in the third quarter. (MTI)
