Russia halves its poultry imports
Next year Russia will halve its poultry imports – announced Viktor Zubkov, Deputy Prime Minister. The Russians are marching towards self-sufficiency.
Russia halves its poultry imports quota to 350 thousand tons in 2011. Russian business owners expect, that russia will become self-sufficient in poultry within two years. President Putin has also confirmed this goal in an earlier statement. The top executives also note, that Russian poultry is still much more expensive than import poultry – reports szabadfold.hu.
