The operators of the Internet markets can be make responsible for violations

The operators of Internet market businesses, including eBay can be responsible for the trade mark violations of their users – states the European Court in its judgments on Tuesday.

In connection with a lawsuit in Britain the L'Oreal cosmetics company  accused of eBay to take part in trademark infringements committed by users in its website. Also objected, that in some cases, eBay manages its users to goods, that infringe trademark rights – reports MTI.
