Less grain cereals were produced
This year, a few percent less grain cereals have been produced, compared to the average of the last five years, but prices are higher than last year – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said at a press conference in Dány, Pest County.
Feldman Zsolt said that according to the preliminary aggregation, farmers could collect 7.6 million tons of grain from 1.6 million hectares of production area. This is about 10 percent lower than last year when record sales were recorded. (MTI)
