Feldman: the new support in the meat industry can bring a quality change
The beef bull-breeding support program in the meat sector could bring a qualitative turn by allowing more domestic meat to reach consumers – the Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture said.
Zsolt Feldman said at a press conference in Városlőd on Wednesday that 700 million HUF will be given to support the purchase of beef bulls, which is expected to increase the genetic quality of the herd. He added that the program is open until 20 September. The Ministry of Agriculture expects the applications of more than a thousand livestock farmers
