Feldman: VAT reduction on pigs is an integral part of government program, that aims to recover the sector
The VAT reduction on living and half-pigs is organically integrated into the government program, that aims to recover the pig sector – Feldman Zsolt, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) told on Thursday in Budapest at a press conference after.
Horváth István, Ministerial Commissioner, responsible for the implementation of the program reminded that the VAT on living and half-pigs will decrease from 27 percent to 5 percent from 1 January 2014 and the parliament will decide on this matter the next Monday. The step will strenghten the profitability of the sector and the entire production structure. (MTI)
