New innovation centre in Karcag
Recy-Pet Hungária Kft.’s new factory and innovation centre was inaugurated by Minister of Agriculture Dr Sándor Fazekas on 16 October 2015 in the Karcag Industrial Park. The new technology used here is capable of 100-percent PET bottle recycling in a quality that is good enough for food industry reuse. The Aquarius-BUSZESZ group is going to be the main buyer of raw material produced in the new plant. In Hungary 1.4-1.6 billion PET bottles end up as waste every year, from which only 20 percent is recycled at the moment.
