Half of Europe is already buying more
According to a quick estimate by Eurostat, retail sales dropped in May 2011: by 1.4 percent in the EU-27 and by 1.9 percent in the eurozone, compared to the same period a year earlier. The biggest growth was measured in Luxembourg (14.3 percent) and the biggest drop was registered in Portugal (8 percent).
