The domestic and European industry pushed their brakes
Instead of the expected growth, industrial production declined in June in the eurozone and in the European Union as well – shows Eurostat's Friday published datas. The Hungarian industry shifted to “braking” mode in the first summer month.
In Hungary, the volume of industrial production, decreased by 1.4% in June 2011, compared to the same period of the previous year. Working-day adjusted a 1.0% increase occurred – reports the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The production during the first six months was 8.1% higher than in the same period last year.
