Euro zone slowing down as well
GDP was down by 1.6 percent in the Euro zone countries in the last quarter of 2008, compared to the third quarter, which was more than the anticipated 1.5 percent drop. Household consumption was down by 1.5 percent in 2008, compared to 2007.
