Wages increased the most in Fejér, decreased the most in Nógrád county
According to the salary survey of Fizetesek.hu, operated by the Workania job portal, the national average gross salary in 2011 was 212,600 HUF. The average wage was the highest in Budapest; an average of 263 thousand HUF.
The 200 thousand HUF average salary limit was only crossed beside Budapest in three counties; Komárom-Esztergom county (212,800 HUF), Fejér county (208,400 HUF) and Győr-Moson-Sopron county (204,500 HUF), followed by Vas county (197,500 HUF), Pest county (195,200 HUF),Veszprém county (191,200HUF ) and Heves county (190,300).
Békés and Nógrád counties remained the country's lowest-paid regions: gross average salary is 158,900 HUF in Békés and 150,400 HUF in Nógrád county.
Largest increased occurred in 2011 compared to 2010 in Fejér county (an average of 8 percent), while a significant, 8 percent drop occurred in Nógrád. (MTI)
