Fed: a weaker-than-expected recovery
The economic recovery from the crisis is weaker than expected, but we are ready for further steps, if it is necessary – said Ben Bernake chairman of Fed.
Shortly before his speech, the U.S. April-June growth datas were published. The second quarter GDP datas of the United States are less, than estimated earlier, but are above the expectations of the analysts. According to the second estimation of the Ministry of Commerce GDP increased by 1.6 percent between April and June, compared with the datas of the year earlier.
