Agricultural producer prices fell by nearly 11 percent in February
The agricultural producer prices fell by 10.9 percent in February 2014, compared to the same period of the last year.
The price of vegetable products decreased by 17.0 percent, while the price of live animals and animal products increased by 1.7 percent – the Central Statistics Office announced (KSH).
The agricultural producer price index in January-February 2014 decreased by 12.5 percent, compared to the same period of 2013. The prices of crop products fell by an average of 18.7 percent, while the price of live animals and animal products rose by 0.2 percent. (MTI)
