Investor sentiment in the euro area improved in February

Euro area investors become more optimistic in February
The euro area investor sentiment index rose 16.6 points in February from 14.9 points in January. On average, the average improvement in expert expectations was 15.2 points for February.
Both components of the index, expectations for the next six months and perceptions of the current environment, have improved. The outlook for the rating rose from 13.5 points in January to 14 points, the highest level since July last year. (MTI)
