Consumer prices fell in the euro zone in February
The consumer prices in the euro zone fell by 0.3 percent on an annual basis in February, after the 0.6 percent annual decline of January – according to the preliminary report of the Eurostat.
The Eurostat estimates that the price of food, tobacco products and alcoholic beverages increased by 0.5 percent in February. The cost of services increased by 1.1 percent. Energy prices decreased by 7.9 percent in February, while the prices of non-energy industrial goods declined by 0.2 percent. (MTI)
