Magazine: February brought a 4.9-percent production price increase in agriculture
According to data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in February 2018 agricultural production prices were 4.9 percent higher than in the same period of 2017. This rise was the result of the price of vegetable products growing by 6.2 percent and livestock/products of animal origin prices increasing by 2.6 percent from the base period level. Cereal crops cost 18 percent more, but slaughter pig’s price dropped 7.5 percent to HUF 357/kg. //
