Prices increased by 3.1 percent in February
In February 2019 consumer prices were 3.1 percent higher on average than a year before. In comparison with February 2018, food prices increased by 5.2 percent. Seasonal product prices (potatoes, fresh fruits and vegetables) grew by 23.3 percent. Flour’s price augmented by 10.1 percent, but the price of egg fell by 17.4 percent. Alcoholic drink and tobacco product prices grew by 7 percent. The price of motor fuels became 1.6 percent lower. Compared with January 2019, consumer prices elevated by 0.6 percent and food prices were up 1.5 percent. //
