Annual inflation in the Czech Republic rose to 11.1 percent in February
Annual inflation in the Czech Republic rose to 11.1 percent in February from 9.9 percent in January, the Czech Statistical Office announced in Prague on Thursday.
Inflation in February was the highest since June 1998, when the rise was 12 percent. It also exceeded forecasts, with most analysts expecting lower inflation to be between 10.3 and 10.6 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
