The tourism project across the six Danube countries will start at the end of February
Ambrus András said that the project between 2020 and 2022 is a continuation of the DANUrB research program held between 2017 and 2019. The budget for the current phase is 2.7 million euros, with Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria participating in the joint work. The 19-member partnership consists of 6 universities, research institutes and agencies dealing with tourism and regional development, regional governments, as well as non-governmental organizations, and the program has been developed and is led by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) Department of Urban Planning.
