It is recommended to apply for agricultural insurance premium support until Friday, because after that the amount of support will be reduced by 1 percent per working day as a penalty for delay, the Hungarian Association of Independent Insurance Brokers (FBAMSZ) told MTI on Wednesday.

The organization welcomed the deductible for insurance from 30 percent to 20 percent, but also indicated that they would see a change in the deadline this year due to the coronavirus. Their proposal was supported by the fact that the restrictions due to the epidemic also require more effort from customers, village farmers and insurance experts compared to previous years. (MTI)
