Wheat has good quality this year

Winter wheat harvest may be accomplished in a few days, as farmers have harvested more than 60 percent of the crop – said Fazekas Sándor Rural Development Minister in Karcag on Thursday in the MR1-Kossuth Radio show entitled 180 minutes.

The minister added that there will be sufficient wheat for bread, seed and feed as well, in fact, about one million tons can be used for exports. The national average yield per hectare is around 3.8 tons – the quality is good, even excellent in many places. (MTI)
