Fazekas: the consumption of foods produced in Hungary has increased
The consumption of foods produced in Hungary has increased significantly, from 70 to 75 percent – Fazekas Sándor Rural Development Minister for said on Monday in Budapest, at the opening of the SIRHA Budapest exhibition.
The Minister indicated that food processing is a priority area for the Hungarian government, therefore it was declared as a strategic sector.
To achieve the goals of the government, the market presence of the well-functioning, competitive businesses is essential. Therefore, the government supports, and esteemes the forward-looking efforts – he explained. (MTI)
