Fazekas: a strong CAP is needed after 2020
Hungary will do everything to ensure to give a strong and appropriate budget to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2020. In order to reach this goal the Member States need strong cooperation – Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture said after the meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels.
The Hungarian ministry leader pointed out that in recent times it happened – as in the case of Russian embargo – that farmers paid the price of political decisions and the EU should not re-commit this mistake again (hirado.hu)
