Fazekas: the EU Member States do not want to reduce farmers’ support
The Member States of the European Union do not want to reduce farmers’ support, the V4s are also committed in this – Fazekas Sándor, Head of the Ministry of Agriculture told M1 news channel.
Following the meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council of the European Union, the minister confirmed that the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) should represent the interests of the small and medium-sized family farms and the current level of support should not be reduced.
The minister said on Tuesday that it is not yet known how large the budget will be, which could be used from the EU budget and, in particular, from its agricultural budget. (MTI)
