Fazekas: the range of hungaricums may be expanded with Szerencsi chocolate and chimney cakes

The Szerencsi chocolate and the chimney cakes can be hungaricums soon – Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture told in Budapest on Thursday, when he opened the first Hungarikum weekend, the cultural and gastronomic festival presenting Hungarian national values.

“The Hungaricums are the peak achievements of the Hungarians. These walls are representing everything that the Hungarians have made in the Carpathian Basin” – said the Minister, referring to the venue of the event; the Castle of Buda. The Buda Castle District is a Hungaricum since 31 January 2013. (MTI)
