Sales are increasing

n the first four months of the year, Farmec Cluj-Napoca recorded a turnover of almost 37 million ron, a 8% year-over-year increase.

Farmec ended 2011 with a turnover of 110.9 million ron, 15.6% higher than in 2010, and estimates a 5% weighted increase for this year, given that 2012 is predicted to be a difficult year in all segments of the economy.

“Over the last years Farmec turnover has increased steadily, the company’s positive evolution one year after another topping over the market increase on which we carry out our business. This is due to our efforts to always come with new products with innovative formulas to meet the various needs of the consumers, and which are marketed at a fair price-quality ratio. The investments we have made in modernizing the production lines and technology, and rendering efficient the production processes and operations have also had a word in the matter” said Mircea Turdean, Farmec Cluj-Napoca CEO.

In the first four months of 2012, Farmec company was the market leader in the category of face care products, with a market share of 24.1% in quantity and on the 2nd place in terms of value (16.4%), calculated based on the ACNielsen data from the retail audit service carried out for the category of Skin and Face Care Products, for 2 fortnightly periods starting January-February 2012, ending on March-April 2012, for the Total Romania market with discounters (Copyright © 2012, the Nielsen Company).
