Farkas Sándor: poultry farming is one of the most competitive sectors of Hungarian agriculture
Farkas Sándor at a professional conference related to the 22nd goose festival said, the poultry sector provides a livelihood for 50,000 people, 8-10,000 of whom are engaged in waterfowl farming.
More than half of Hungarian meat production is provided by the poultry sector, and more than 1,900 commodity farms are involved in the production of raw materials, the politician announced. (MTI)
