FAO: world food prices decreased in July
In July, food prices on the world market declined, mainly due to the decline in the prices of certain cereals and dairy products.
After a five-month rise in food prices in June, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) price index fell by 1.1 percent to 170.9 points from the 172.9 points of June. Last July, the index stood at 167.1 points. (MTI)
