Within the high-quality pork (KMS) certificate system, the origin of pork can be verified with QR codes scanned with smartphone – the chairman of the Livestock and Meat Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board (VHT) told M1 news channel on Saturday.
Németh Antal said that the test run is complete, now the wide range of implementation of the system is taking place. He added that until now more than 640 slaughterhouses and processing plants have logged on to the KMS for certification, and 289 of them have already received the trademark. (MTI)
