These were the most popular products of the summer
This summer was spent relaxing and having fun, which is also reflected in the best-selling products. According to a recent survey by Arukereső, retro music players, selfie sticks, bicycle accessories, and modern technological devices such as e-book readers and VR glasses were the most purchased items by Hungarians. The data shows that in the summer months, people were mainly looking for products for their recreation and leisure activities.
The return of MP3 and MP4 players is particularly noteworthy, with 44% of users searching for these, while interest in bicycle phone holders increased by 42%. Bluetooth trackers and analog cameras were also popular, with demand for both increasing by 32%. VR glasses have also become a hit product, with interest in them increasing by 26%.
In July, devices related to hiking dominated, with 37% more searches for selfie sticks and 18% more e-book readers, while GPS and power banks also enjoyed considerable popularity. On an annual basis, VR glasses proved to be a real star product: they generated 24% more searches than last year, and interest in their accessories also increased by 174%.
According to Arukereső data, the demand for mobile phone parts also increased, with an increase of 63%. Cameras and lenses (54 to 43%) and projectors, which are increasingly popular for filming at home and in the garden, saw a similar jump.
Based on the search trends of the summer season, it is clear that recreation, entertainment and nature walks continue to play a prominent role in the lives of customers. This summer’s diverse product range reflects Hungarian consumers’ interest in both modern technological devices and retro items.
