This may ruin the large plants
The upcoming operational management law may ruin the large plants that are giving a large part of the domestic agricultural production. According to the Magyar Nemzet, the draft would oblige the large agricultural holdings to give up their fields over 1200 hectares in five years.
The owners themselves will be able to decide which part of the cultivated area to be given up. According to the legislation, land leases will automatically disappear after five years if the parties can not reach agreement about them. If the landlord does not want to sell the land area over 1,200 hectares, than it should be leased by an another producer. (Magyar Nemzet Online, Hír TV)
