Many Hungarians visit the Lidl in Párkány regularly to shop, a 45,000 dollar purchase at home can easily turn into a 32,000 dollar purchase with a detour in Slovakia. Of course, it is still worth buying products with a price cap domestically.
“I’m not saying that you shouldn’t pay attention to the discount newspaper, because yes, you should. But if you pay attention, you can turn a HUF 45,000 purchase into a HUF 32,000 purchase.”
