This is what will be especially expensive now in Hungarian stores
The price of large household appliances (refrigerators, gas stoves, washing machines) has increased significantly, so those who want to replace them with more modern and energy-efficient ones because of the utility bill can now look at the big picture.

A 40 percent increase for fridges
A 100-150-liter refrigerator with a built-in freezer has risen in price by roughly the same amount as the 21.1 percent inflation measured in October: today, on average, you have to pay HUF 86,600 for it in stores, while a year ago the same was only HUF 71,610. Compared to 2020, the price of the refrigerator has increased by more than 37 percent – writes Pénzcentrum, relying on KSH data.
