In five years, this company became the largest container manufacturing company in Hungary
The Hungarian-owned Continest Technologies Zrt. has become the largest container manufacturing company in Hungary in five years, the Székesfehérvár company announced on Thursday.
For MTI’s interest, it was explained: the company develops and manufactures collapsible containers and unique container-based infrastructure units. Their products can be found in several market segments, they are mostly used in the domestic and international event industry (festivals, sports events), humanitarian situations and infrastructure needs for the defense industry. Their markets are fundamentally stable and reliable, but credit interest levels and inflation are currently making sales difficult – the company indicated.
Their 10,000-square-meter plant, equipped with modern machinery, has an annual production capacity of 2,000 containers.
The company is not planning any major investments this year, however, the development of production processes and container-based infrastructure products is still in focus, as continuous product development partly ensures market advantage and partly growth.
