EY: the Government expects almost HUF 100 billion in additional budget revenue from the global minimum tax
The government submitted the proposal to amend the tax laws to the Parliament. A new research and development grant may come, the rules for energy efficiency and development tax relief will be tightened, but their intensity will increase; the suspension of advertising tax remains in effect. Another good news is that pre-prepared and recommended VAT return drafts can also be received. In addition to the changes, the companies involved must also prepare for the introduction of a new type of tax, the global minimum tax. EY experts have compiled the most important changes.

Nagy többlet várható
“It is clear that the next tax year will bring significant changes. New discounts and increased support frames will be available, but in many cases under much stricter conditions. It is in the fundamental interest of domestic company and financial managers to learn about the changes. In addition to legal compliance, competitiveness can be significantly affected if a company is able to take advantage of new opportunities”
– said Tamás Vékási, head of EY’s tax and legal consulting business.
