Dzsúdló is coming to Meki restaurants with extra novelty and even more retro flavors
Dzsúdló and McDonald’s are taking their collaboration to a new level, as in the campaign series featuring the favorite Mekis orders of Hungarian celebrities, it is the first time that the participating star has been able to transform the sandwich on their menu. From September 2, Dzsúdló Mekis Favorite will get a new twist: the Pork McFarm® feat. Dzsúdló burger will be released.
The musician and the Hungarian McDonald’s have reimagined the sandwich, which was created in Hungary in the 2000s and has since been available in several European countries. It was the Hungarian roots of the sandwich that made it possible to enrich the product with new ingredients. The new edition brings a truly Hungarian, retro flavor, turbocharging the Pork McFarm® burger with csalamade, fried onions and chive sauce.
In addition to the exciting, renewed sandwich, fans can even take home eternal memories from the restaurants. The Dzsúdló merch collared t-shirt and sun visor, which have only been seen on restaurant employees, will be available to guests from September 2nd. The sun visor can be purchased as part of the Dzsúdló Mekis Ráadás Kedvence coupon offer in the McDonald’s app, and the collared, patterned t-shirt can be purchased in two sizes in the restaurants.
These are not simple promotional pieces – both are the result of joint creative work with the musician, so they carry the same visual world as is reflected on the menu packaging, in the commercial and in the entire campaign. Such jointly created accessories are also the first to appear in domestic campaigns. In America, there was a precedent for this in the case of Travis Scott, and now Dzsúdló is joining him as the first Hungarian, whose connection with fashion – his own clothing brand, BOGA, and his iconic stage and video clip outfits – make this leg of the campaign even more authentic.
As before, the menu continues to include 4 Camembert cheese bites, sour cream-garlic sauce, a medium french fry and a medium Sprite Zero (this is Dzsúdló’s favorite, but the soft drink is freely chosen on the menu), and the products continue to arrive in the characteristic boxes that recall Dzsúdló’s childhood in his native village of Borsod.
