Extra boost, extra low price from Tesco
New year, new life – we tell ourselves almost every year at the beginning of the year. However, resolutions that are often made on the spur of the moment often fade into oblivion after a few weeks or months. This year, Tesco is helping us to keep our resolutions regarding a healthier lifestyle. From January 2, the supermarket chain will be offering many products at low prices that can be part of a healthy lifestyle and nutrition diet among its price-guaranteed products, which number around 1,700 products. We can therefore get foods that are rich in fiber, which are extremely effective in weight loss, or that support exercise and limiting sugar and fat intake, at a guaranteed low price.
At the end of the year, we usually make a great promise to change our lifestyle in the new year in the right direction. Among the most common promises made to ourselves are healthy eating and losing weight, which, according to a 2024 survey, are in second and fourth place, respectively. Data from a similar study shows that 38 percent of Europeans make a vow, and the most typical goals are related to health and exercise.
“We know that our customers want to live healthily, and for many, the anniversary, a new beginning, can give them an impetus to do so. We offer a wide range of products related to health-conscious nutrition and diet throughout the year, but from January 2, we will reduce the prices of some of them – including many of our own-brand products. Within our price guarantee program, approximately 1,700 products are guaranteed to be available at a low price, including fiber-rich foods that support achieving and maintaining a balanced body weight, sports supplements or gluten-free foods. The latter can not only be useful for those with food allergies, but also support the reduction of sugar and fat consumption,”
– said Nóra Hevesi, Head of Communications at TESCO-GLOBAL Zrt.
