The momentum of the Gábor Baross Loan Program is unbroken, in just two months, Hungarian businesses signed loan agreements worth more than HUF 139 billion, the 200 billion HUF surplus of the loan program reopened on January 15 was used up by Hungarian companies at record speed, in about one month, EXIM Hungary announced. on Thursday with MTI.
According to the information, EXIM Hungary has so far approved 185 loan applications worth HUF 163 billion, 42 percent of the deals came from the SME sector.
The announcement details that EXIM Hungary reopened the acceptance of applications for the Gábor Baross Industrialization Loan Program on January 15. The loan products, offered with even more favorable financing conditions than before, financing only investments, once again aroused extraordinary interest on the part of Hungarian companies, they added.
By the middle of February, the bank had received so many applications that the loan program, which had been increased by additional resources of HUF 200 billion, was used up. The acceptance of loan applications is currently suspended, the evaluation of the received loan applications has been completed, and the leasing applications have been ongoing since then – they wrote in the announcement.
