EXIM: there is huge interest in the Gábor Baross Reindustrialization Loan Program
On January 15, EXIM Hungary reopened the acceptance of applications for the Baross Gábor Újraiparosítási Hitelprogram (BGH). More than half of the HUF 200 billion frame amount has already been applied for by domestic enterprises – EXIM Hungary, the country’s official export credit agency, announced in its statement on Tuesday.
In just a few days, 88 new loan applications with a value of approximately HUF 122 billion were submitted to commercial banks, leasing companies, or directly to EXIM Hungary.
The Gábor Baross Reindustrialization Loan Program, which has been increased to HUF 1,200 billion in total, is not only one of the most sought-after financing schemes of EXIM Hungary’s 30-year existence, but is also one of the country’s most successful loan programs ever, the agency emphasized.
