Hundred thousand tons of flour is sold in the black economy each year
About 100 thousand tons of flour is sold in the black economy each year in Hungary with VAT frauds.
The cheaters turned towards the flour, after the Government introduced reversed VAT on grain trade in 2012, which was the hotbed of VAT frauds before 2012. The domestic legal mills are trying to carry out developments and concentration to compete, but they have to face wheat quality problems often as well.
