Kapuvári Bacon Ltd. would export an annual four thousand tonnes of bacon to Russia
Soon Hungarian bacon will invade the Russian market. It is expected, that until the end of the month, the Russian veterinary audit will be completed and exports will begin to the Russian market.
The company belonging to the Pick-group with a nearly 500 million HUF investment 4000 tonnes per year capacity was built out for sliced bacon and for – hams and smoked ham production in small quantities. The pilot began in the spring of 2009, and at the end of the year, it is expected that the plant will employ 30-35 people – reports Napi Gazdaság.
