The expansion of European industry broke a record on annual basis
Industrial production in the countries of the Euro area increased faster-than-expected in April, but the rate of growth slowed, compared to March. The annual expansion was the largest ever recorded.
According to the datas of Eurostat; in April, industrial output increased by 0.8 percent, compared to the previous month, when there was a 0.5 percent monthly growth. Analysts expected 0.5 percent in April.
The twelve-month growth is 9.5 percent. It is the largest since the beginning of the data collection, since 1990 – reports Privatbankar.hu.
