Inflation was less than the average
In November 2009, the monthly average consumer price increase was 0.3 percent, compared to last November, when it was 5.2 percent. In the first eleven months of 2009, prices were 4.1 percent higher than in the same period of last year.
According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH); Compared to October 2009, food prices increased by 0.6 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 0.5 percent.
A low degree of inflation, a 0.2 percent price increase has occured on the market of the clothing items. The price of the services has not changed, compared to the previous month.
