Euro zone retail sales decreased
In an annual comparision, Euro zone retail sales in June became worse than expected, while the monthly data shows an increase.
Compared to the same period of last year, retail sales decreased by 0.2 percent after the revised 0.7 percent drop of July. Analysts expected a lower, 0.1 percent decrease.
However, retail sales rose, in comparison with the previous month with 0.2 percent, while analysts expected stagnation – reports mfor.hu.
