EU retail turnover decreased on an annual basis
On a monthly comparision the volume of retail turnover increased compared to the previous year in November 2012 in the eurozone and in the EU – Eurostat announced on Tuesday.
Euro zone’s retail sales increased Last November BY 0.1 percent in the 17 Member States of the euro zone, compared with October. In the 27-member EU, the increase was 0.2 percent in November compared to the previous month.
The volume of retail sales in the euro zone decreased by 2.6 percent and decreased by 1.3 percent in the EU in November 2012 compared with a year earlier. (MTI)
