We spend HUF 100,000 on LEGO every year
The world of LEGO is also very popular in Hungary, and not only among children. According to a recent survey, the average Lego buyer spends more than HUF 100,000 on various sets of the Danish cube game. Although this amount is significant, many believe that the price of the toy is more than worth it, as LEGO is not only fun, but also has a serious skill-building effect.
The survey conducted by Etele Plaza in connection with the KocKaland exhibition highlights that the majority of LEGO customers return home with a new set a few times a year. 38.5 percent of the respondents buy Lego rarely, a few times, while a tenth of them buy a new set every month. It also turned out that sets intended for children are still the most popular, but sets for adults and collectors are also gaining ground.
The survey also produced interesting results regarding shopping habits. More than half of the respondents buy the toy for their children, while a third of them get a set for themselves. The popularity of LEGO is also shown by the fact that a significant number of customers spontaneously choose the new sets that they like in the store.
LEGO is not only fun, but also develops many skills, which was confirmed by the survey participants. According to 85 percent of the respondents, the game helps the development of fine motor movement, spatial perception and logical thinking. In addition, the development of imagination and creativity was highlighted by 61.5 percent of the respondents. LEGO is therefore not just a toy, but a complex development tool that also enriches social experiences, as many people spend time playing Lego with their children, partners or friends.
