Employers can save 123 thousand HUF per year
According to Bessenyey Bálint, Executive Director of the Sodexo Pass, despite the taxation of fringe benefits, the existing system will still be more favorable to the employers, than wages.
From the 1st of January 2010 the tax-free fringe benefits, will get into the tax-free, reduced taxed and normal taxation category. In 2010 the internet vouchers still remain tax-free. Twenty-five percent of the tax burden will fall on hot meal vouchers, for example, holiday vouchers and checks.
According to forecasts, the majority of companies retains the cafeteria system, but do not change the budget and will put the weight of the incremental costs to the employees.
Bessenyey Bálint is confident that the employers will not forget in the system, which still offers financial benefits – reports TőzsdeFórum.
